 Fraser Fir
A non-needle drop Christmas tree with a more feathery appearance than the Nordmann Fir.
We grow many varieties of Christmas trees from 2ft – 50ft
Nordmann Fir
The most popular of non-needledrop Christmas trees. It has dark, glossy needles and, if well tended, forms a dense, bushy shape.		 Norway Spruce
The traditional Christmas tree. A very pretty tree that is sheared to give a more uniform, dense shape. It will require water to help it retain its needles.

Scots Pine
One of the best needle-holding Christmas trees of all. It has long blue coloured needles and is sheared to give it a better form.

Lodgepole Pine
This Christmas tree also retains its needles well and is dark green in colour and often cones can be found on it.

Blue Spruce
This Christmas tree has very attractive blue / grey foliage and is a variation on the traditional Norway Spruce. We tend to sell this tree in a container with roots on, although cut trees are becoming more popular.

Noble Fir
A difficult Christmas tree to grow but is the king of species if uniform in shape. It has a wonderful smell, good blue / green colour and is non-needledrop. We also use it to make wreaths and bunched foliage.

Douglas Fir
A Christmas tree that has one of the most fragrant smells of all.

We sell fresh holly, mistletoe, and bunched decorative foliage. Noble Fir, Eucalyptus variegated foliage and berried branches are all on sale.

Bradshaws Christmas Tree Farm

Traditionally, a Christmas tree was taken as a "thinning" crop in forestry and was not grown specifically as a tree to decorate. Nowadays, all  Christmas trees are planted at specific spacings; they are all sheared to give a uniform shape and are managed so that pest damage is minimal. An attack of aphids can be devastating. Each year we shear about 100,000 trees by hand with shears or sharp knives so that we can offer the perfect tree – although everybody has different ideas! For a tree to reach 7ft, it will take from 6-10 years depending on species. We take great care to ensure that our trees are good quality and we harvest fresh every day so that needle-drop is kept to a minimum.

We grow acres of Christmas trees supplying wholesalers and we sell direct from our own retail outlet.
